“National Leadership Academy had a profound impact on me. It challenged me to think beyond myself and recognize the influence that even small actions can have on others. One idea that has stayed with me is that throughout our lives, we will meet around 80,000 people, and each interaction is an opportunity to make a positive impact. That realization made me more aware of the weight of my words, choices, and actions. The experience also deepened my appreciation for prayer. We prayed over everything we did, which reminded me to lead with faith and purpose. At the same time, the program welcomed people of every background, religion, culture, and orientation, showing me the importance of both conviction and compassion.
